September 2022 - Nothing Much

Sam brought Tess and Rue down. Ever was sick, so Jim and Sam took everybody else to Annie's Canyon and then La Jolla, where they did some fun snorkeling. I just have pictures that were texted to me, and some are really fuzzy.

Sweet Tines fell asleep under the tramp after a swim in Cikaneks' pool.

A squirrel lounged right outside our house. It just splayed itself and lay there.

Ever and I played Scrabble.

Berry is just a writer and a list-maker. I stumble upon lists all around the house. What this list is, I do not know.

Tiny had become a pretty great reader by this point.

I'm not sure when or why I got this nice note from Ever and Wren.

Berry got funky with her food again, this time putting leftover baked oatmeal on top of a piece of peanut butter toast.

A glimpse into a Bear/Tiny love fest. Berry is calling Tiny "Chubbers" as she tries to love on her. For some reason, that is the nickname Bear most often uses for Tiny when she's attacking her with physical affection. You can see how sometimes these love fests result in someone's getting hurt or upset and then a fight.

The Littles became obsessed with this tree in Cikaneks' back yard. Scott and Reba weren't fans because if they fell, they'd fall on brick, concrete, a metal fence, or metal pool equipment. I don't know what was going on with the rope here. Harnessing them to the tree in case of a fall?

Another list by Bear (of ways to make money), overlaid with lyrics to one of Tiny's Let's Play Music songs ("This is the red chord. Blue is next I say. Yellow is the chord that brings us back to red").

Then there was this gem. Sweet Bear, always imagining and creating.

Jim continued to wear his "wedding shirt" (the shirt he wore on our wedding day) to work despite the fact that the elbow was completely gone. He's so Pod in the thrashed-clothes department.

A Sunday afternoon couch nap.

More tree time.
