Dolly is good at apologies, and she gives some sweet compliments. Here are some examples:
Jim always tells her he doesn't want her to get big; he wants her to stay his little girl. One day she said, "I'm sorry I got too big. It's my fault."
She had an accident at 3:30 A.M. one morning a while ago. I went to help her, and while we were in the bathroom, she said, "I'm sorry I woked you up."
One of the most frustrating things she does is try to choose who does what for her. Sometimes she wants me; sometimes she wants Jim. She freaks out and cries and refuses to be helped by the person she does not want for that particular task. We have got to figure out how to break her of this. In any case, the other day Jim put her to bed. A few minutes later, she started calling out that she needed to go potty. Jim said he'd be right there. She then said she didn't want to go potty, and we knew it was just because she wanted me instead of Jim. I went up. (I know, I shouldn't have.) The first thing she said was, "Ima tell Daddy sorry." I asked, "Why? Because you didn't want him to help you?" She answered affirmatively. I asked if she'd like me to call Daddy up so she could say sorry, and she said yes. Jim came to the bathroom wearing green scrubs (the pants). When he entered, Ever said, "I like your pants." We had a good laugh, although it doesn't sound very funny when I write it. Guess you had to be there.

Seriously, the pants story is Clara and it's so funny! Love her sweetness and I can't wait to get there.
